Studio Milo

Studio Milo maintains two lovely studios located in the same building by the water in DUMBO, Brooklyn. One of our studios has great views of the water and the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges.

Our space has wireless internet access, clean slop sinks, well maintained bathrooms, freight elevators, and 24/7 access.

Our studios are open-plan - meaning that each artist has her own space, but we do not have a large number of partitions or walls. We try to keep a balance between privacy and openness.

The studio is very quiet. We do not allow uses that create too much noise or dust. Thus, woodworking and photography are often not a good fit. 

Although there are up to 18 artists in each studio, it is rare for more than 3 artists to be in the studio at any given time. This is surprising to new studio-mates.

These are a couple of views of Studio Milo. Since there are multiple spaces, it is best to view the studio in person to see what is available.
